Dulcie’s Cottage here, all the way from Merimbula on the South Coast.
Our lovely little beach town is very seasonal and we are looking for a strong chef/cook to join our team for 4-6 weeks over summer on a working holiday style arrangement.
Dulcie’s is a cute weatherboard cottage that we turned into a bar and decorated a bit like your cool grandma’s house. The cottage has a deck looking over the water and a beer garden, there we have a burger van that we have a limited menu of 6 burgers, fries and oysters.
Arguably the best burgers on the south coast 🙂 We are small venue with a tight knit motley crew of approx 15 staff in the peak seasons. Everyone has their roles but we very much work as a team, respect and help each other out when we can. We are all passionate about our industry and have the best time while delivering great burgers and service.
The gig will involve a full time working week doing split shifts from around 12-12 with 2 days off.
Plenty of time to get in the ocean and explore the area.
On any given shift, the van is a team of 2-3 working in sync sharing the role of minimal prep, cooking and building burgers.
We are offering $1000 per week with accommodation included for the right fit. You’ll get a nightly staffy as well as a staff discount on all food and beverages.
Before we move forward we would love to meet you and have you in for a nights work.
We are offering a $200 paid trial+ we’ll put you up for the night.
